Men’s Fashion Finds #21: TwoAngle

It’s been a little while since we stretched our fashion legs into a full on shoot here at TQS, but this week we righted that wrong, stepping out to brace the cold wind on a hungover Sunday morning at Victoria Gardens with achingly hip streetwear brand TwoAngle.

Streetwear has seen a resurgence in recent years – with brands like Republic and Bank ploughing full steam ahead into the world of the mainstream, bringing with them the soft jersey, bold prints and over sized tees of the hip hop aesthetic. Streetwear got smart – no longer for just musicians  and no longer looked upon as the brattish teenager in the menswear vertical, streetwear is now seamlessly integrated into any stylish man’s wardrobe.

Whether it’s down to spending too much time on Tumblr, or just trying to recapture our youth, we instantly loved TwoAngle. It’s urban done proper, with high quality fabrics and an individual take on the conventional high street fare. And that’s not mentioning the reel of artists who’ve sported the stuff in videos and on stage. But it’s real strength is in it’s flexibility – collections that allow you to play with different levels of involvement in the look. You can jump in the deep end with a series of baseball jackets and snapbacks, or stick to pieces more easily integrated to the everyday wardrobe with a host graphic tees and playful sweats that you won’t find on the high street. Aces.
