Robots are on the move, but why?

We’re not sure why, but robots are on the move in America. How do we know? Because we were sent the below footage of a weird robot sighting in Pasedena America:

But that’s not the only sighting there’s been, someone has put together this Tumblr to keep track of robots on the move. Sightings so far seem to be limited to America but if you see one here in the UK, submit it to the Tumblr or Twitter with the hashtag #brilliantmachines to let people know.

Don’t worry though, if the Three Laws of Robotics are anything to go by, we’ll be just fine:

1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.

Just don’t watch ‘I, Robot’, or ‘Battlestar Galactica’ or ‘2001: Space Odyssey’ or ‘Terminator’. Hell, maybe we should worry.
